REFINERY CRUDE/FLASHER INCREASE TAN LIMITS

  

ADVANTIV provided overall Project Management for this $5MM project; This project installed an on-line Permasense probe/analysis system in the Crude and Flasher Units. Two corrosion monitoring skids for the hot corrosion loops were installed along with the associated piping, electrical and instrumentation. Corrosion monitoring is required to understand the variability of corrosion rates over time due to running different crude rates. Specific corrosion inhibitors are injected based on data.
